MicroPilot Honoured with Award for Excellence in Technological Innovation

The Manitoba Aerospace Association is pleased to present the Seventh Annual Aerospace All Stars Awards Dinner to celebrate excellence in the Manitoba aerospace industry.
The Manitoba Aerospace sector has grown from the repair and overhaul of small aircraft in the early 1930's to become Western Canada's largest aerospace center and the third largest aerospace center in Canada. Manitoba Aerospace along with Ontario and Quebec give Canada the second largest Aerospace sector in the world. Manitoba Aerospace is comprised of internationally recognized companies such as Boeing Canada and Bristol Aerospace (the flagship of Magellan Aerospace Corporation) provide component manufacturing. Commercial aircraft overhaul is carried out by Air Canada Technical Services. Standard Aero is a world leader in providing gas turbine engine overhaul services. National and international military flight training is provided by Allied Wings at its home at Southport, Manitoba.
MicroPilot was presented with the All Star Award for Excellence in Technological Innovation. Howard Loewen, President of MicroPilot stated: "Manitoba is a great place to build a business and it is always an honour to be recognized in your own province.
